About Salome Camargo
Salome Camargo is a Colombian pop singer who gained national attention as a finalist on The X Factor in 2011. Born on November 1, 2001, in Bogota, Colombia, she has since risen to fame through her YouTube covers of popular songs and original compositions such as “Cantando.” Before her success in music, Salome attended Colegio Nuestra Senora de Lourdes in Barranquilla, Colombia.
Aside from her musical pursuits, Salome also served as a presenter at the 2015 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards in Colombia. She hails from a family of music enthusiasts; both her parents Ervin and Claudia are supportive of her career along with her siblings Maria, Talef, and Natalia.
