Sally Dexter is an English stage actress, born on April 15, 1960. She rose to fame for her portrayal of Nancy in the first major revival of Oliver and has since garnered multiple awards for her performances.
Aside from her stage success, Dexter has made numerous on-screen appearances in popular shows such as Touch of Frost, Dalziel and Pascoe, and Night and Day.
Prior to her acting career, she attended The Henley College and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. In recognition of her talent, she received an Olivier Award for Most Promising Newcomer in Theatre for her role in Dalliance.
Dexter was born in London, England where she also attended Chiltern Edge School during her childhood.
