About Sally Barker
Sally Barker (born September 19, 1959) is an English jazz, pop, and folk vocalist and songwriter. She is best known as a founding member of the all-female band called The Poozies and has also released several solo recordings.
Before gaining prominence in her music career, Barker belonged to local rock bands such as The Chapter, Manitou, and Sally Barker and The Undergraduates.
In addition to her music career, she gained wider recognition by competing on the 2014 season of the BBC’s The Voice. Barker is married to Chris Wakeford with whom she shares two sons.
