About Salem Ilese
Salem Ilese, born on August 19, 1999 in Mill Valley, California, is a songwriter who gained widespread attention with her viral hit “Mad At Disney” on TikTok in September 2020. She released her debut EP 757 in 2019 and subsequently signed with the label Homemade Projects in August of 2020.
Prior to her rise to fame, Ilese attended Berklee College of Music in Boston for two years before leaving to pursue a full-time career in music. In 2018 she debuted her first song “Awake,” followed by an album of remixes called Impatient the following year.
Ilese’s parents have been supportive of her musical endeavors since a young age and were responsible for capturing her early music as early as four years old. Additionally, she features pictures of her dog Bowie on her Instagram feed.
