About Sage Erickson
Sage Erickson is a professional surfer known for her numerous victories in competitions. Born on December 28, 1990, in Ojai, California, she first became involved in surfing at the age of 11 after relocating to Hawaii. By age 14, she was already competing and achieving significant success on both the NSSA and Pro Junior circuits.
Some of her notable achievements include winning the U.S. Open Junior Pro in 2010, Cabreiroa Pantin Classic Pro in 2012, Copa El Salvador Impressionante and Pantin Classic Galicia Pro in 2015 as well as earning victory twice at the Paul Mitchell Supergirl Pro. In addition to these successes, Erickson obtained a top-10 ranking on the World Surfing Tour in 2016.
Beyond her athletic accomplishments, Sage Erickson has also been recognized outside of surfing circles; notably making an appearance at #87 on Maxim’s Hot 100 list in 2014.
Erickson comes from a family background that involves moving between California and Hawaii during her childhood years. She is from Ojai but spent time living on Oahu before returning to Ventura when she was fourteen. Her father Greg Erickson played a pivotal role throughout this period of transition along with her brother Noah.
