Sachini Ayendra is a Sri Lankan film actress and model known for her work in television shows and feature films. She was born on April 8, 1982, in Kandy, Sri Lanka. Ayendra began her career as a model and gained recognition after winning the Kandy pageant in 2002 and subsequently being crowned Miss Sri Lanka in 2003 to represent the country at the Miss World 2003 pageant.
Her acting career started in 2003 with her debut role in Adaraneeya Wassanaya. Since then, she has played notable recurring roles such as Malini in the 2006 series Surangana Duwa and Mohan in the 2009 series Situ Diyaniyo. Additionally, Ayendra has starred in films like Sankara and Adaraneeya Wassanaya.
Ayendra’s talent has earned her several awards, including the Signis Sri Lanka Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Sankara (2007). She was born and raised in Kandy, Sri Lanka to parents David Stanley.
