About Ryane Leao
Ryane Leao, born on July 12, 1989 in Brazil, is a renowned Brazilian poet. She gained recognition for her collection of poems titled “Everything In It Shines and Burns” which was published in 2017. With over 600,000 followers on Instagram, Leao has carved a space for herself by sharing her short poems through the platform.
Prior to achieving fame as a poet, she pursued English and Literature at the Federal University of Sao Paulo. Her literary journey began in 2008 when she started publishing her work through the lambe-lambes literary magazine.
Notably, her first book “Tudo Nela Brilha e Queima” was published in 2016 with support from a collective funding campaign organized by her fans.
Leao hails from Cuiaba, Brazil where she was born and raised.
