About Ryan Ashley Malarkey
Ryan Ashley Malarkey is a tattoo artist and co-owner of The Strange & Unusual Oddities Parlor, an antiques, taxidermy and novelty shop. She was born on April 29, 1987 in Pennsylvania. Malarkey has earned recognition as an award-winning tattoo artist featured in Inked Magazine and Freshly Inked.
Before pursuing a career in tattoo artistry, Malarkey received a degree in fashion design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2007, where she was named the Critic’s Choice award winner of her graduating class.
In 2017, Malarkey made history by becoming the first female winner of the reality television show “Ink Master” after eight seasons. In 2019, she married Arlo DiChristina and together they welcomed their first child, Atheus, on May 16th that same year. Prior to this marriage, she had been engaged to Josh Balz who co-owned The Strange & Unusual Oddities Parlor with her.
