About Ruthie Davis
Ruthie Davis (born December 30, 1961) is a celebrated fashion designer from the United States. She is best known as the founder of the popular Ruthie Davis luxury brand of shoes, which was launched in 2006. Prior to this, she held the position of Vice President of Marketing and Design for Women’s Footwear at Tommy Hilfiger.
Before her career in fashion took off, Davis studied English literature and visual arts at Bowdoin College.
In 2014, she received recognition as the American Apparel and Footwear Association’s Footwear Designer of the Year.
Davis comes from a family with five older siblings and holds the distinction of being the youngest among them.
