About Rosie Waterland
Rosie Waterland is an Australian memoirist, author, and actress born on May 30, 1986. She gained recognition for her comedic memoirs The Anti Cool Girl and Every Lie I’ve Ever Told. In 2015, she received the Australian Book Industry Awards People’s Choice Award for Best New Writer of the Year for The Anti Cool Girl.
Prior to her rise in the literary world, Waterland garnered attention in 2013 for her satirical recaps of The Bachelor Australia on the Mamamia Women’s Network that went viral. She worked as a senior editor with the company until 2015.
In addition to her writing career, Waterland premiered her first one-woman show titled My Life On The Couch (with vodka) in 2016 and co-created the political documentary satire What’s Going On: With Jamila Rizvi and Rosie Waterland.
On a personal note, in October 2017 she was public about her relationship by posting an Instagram photo with then-boyfriend Harrison Engstrom.
