About Robin Slonina
Robin Slonina, born on April 19, 1971 in Chicago, Illinois, is a renowned painter, sculptor, and performance artist. She is best known for her expertise in body painting and creating interactive artwork. Notably, she has served as a judge on the popular body painting reality show skin Wars.
Prior to gaining recognition for her artistry, Slonina studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1993. In 2005, she founded the States of Dress project and subsequently opened skin City Body Painting one year later in Las Vegas.
Slonina is married to Jim Slonina with whom she shares a son; they tied the knot in 2007.
