Riya Malik is a Canadian YouTube star known for her successful joint channel, Dan and Riya. Born on January 19, 1994, she has amassed a subscriber base of over 3.3 million with content including comedy sketches, reaction videos, taste tests, challenges and more. Riya also co-founded the popular Beverly Valley High web series.
Before gaining widespread popularity on YouTube, Riya grew up in Canada where she met her future collaborator Dan in fourth grade. Their joint venture began in March 2014 and quickly gained traction. Notable among their successes was the September 2015 video “Man Gives Birth,” which went viral with over 8 million views.
