About Rita Ferro Rodrigues
Rita Ferro Rodrigues is a Portuguese journalist and TV presenter, born on October 16, 1976 in Lisbon, Portugal. She is well-known for her work hosting and directing programs on the Independent Communication Society, including Morning Company and SIC News. In 2018, she launched the online magazine Paper Elephant.
Before gaining fame in broadcasting, Rodrigues began presenting the children’s news program Diario Diario on RTP 2 at just 16 years old. She studied law at Pontifical Catholic University and social communication at the Autonomous University of Lisbon before entering the media industry.
In her personal life, Rodrigues married Ruben Vieira in 2007 and they had a son named Eduardo in 2010. From a previous marriage with journalist Daniel Cruzeiro, she has a daughter named Leonor.
