About Rima Kallingal
Rima Kallingal (born January 19, 1984) is an Indian movie actress known for her work in Malayalam-language films. She has received acclaim and several awards for her performances in movies such as Nidra, City of God, and 22 Female Kottayam. Kallingal also won the Kerala Film Critics Association Award for her role in Indian Rupee.
Before embarking on a successful acting career, Kallingal began dance training at the age of three and later pursued modeling opportunities, ultimately becoming a finalist in the Miss Kerala pageant.
Kallingal holds a degree in journalism from Christ University in Bangalore. In late 2013, she married renowned movie director and producer Aashiq Abu.
