Riana Nelson, born on April 30, 1986 in Olympia, Washington, is a pop singer known for her work as part of the group Derik Nelson & Family. In addition to performing with the group, she released a solo album titled “More Like Me” on iTunes and has been the lead vocalist and entertainer for Princess Cruises. Notably, she has also served on the Board Of Directors at the non-profit theater The Washington Center for the Performing Arts.
Prior to gaining recognition in the music industry, Riana Nelson earned a BFA degree in Musical Theatre from the University of Michigan. She further showcased her talents by singing the National Anthem at a Seattle Seahawks home game before an audience of over 60,000 people during Fall 2016.
Riana comes from a musical family and is close with her brother Derik Nelson; she is also established on social media through her riananelson Instagram account.
