Revathi, born on July 8, 1966 in Kochi, India, is an Indian movie actress known for her remarkable performances in Tamil and Malayalam films. Some of her notable works include “Thalaimurai” (1998) and “Molly Aunty Rocks!” (2012). Throughout her career, she has been honored with multiple Filmfare Awards and Cinema Express Awards.
Prior to her acting career, Revathi began as a model before making the transition into acting when she was discovered by director Bharathiraja. In 2002, she ventured into directing with the English-language film “Mitr, My Friend.”
Revathi was previously married to actor Suresh Chandra Menon from 1986 to 2013 and is also related to actress Geetha Vijayan.
