About Rehemah Namakula
Rehemah Namakula, born on April 24, 1991, is a well-known R&B singer and songwriter from Uganda. She initially started her music career as a backup singer before achieving success as a solo artist.
Namakula has received notable recognition for her work, winning 8 HiPipo Music Awards. In addition to her musical accomplishments, she was selected to represent Uganda in the fourth season of Coke Studio Africa in 2016.
Although she began studying at Kyambogo University, she did not complete her degree. Namakula has garnered a significant social media following with 1 million followers on Instagram under the username remah001.
Born in Kampala, Uganda, Namakula dated fellow singer Eddy Kenzo and together they welcomed a daughter in 2014. Later on, she married Hamza Ssebunya and had another daughter with him in 2021.
