About Raudha Athif
Raudha Athif was born on May 18, 1996, in the Maldives. She was a model and medical student who tragically passed away in her dorm room in Bangladesh in 2017. Her family alleged that she was killed by an Islamic extremist for refusing to wear Islamic clothing, however a post-mortem by three doctors concluded it was a suicide.
Prior to gaining fame as a model, Athif starred in an environmental campaign on Maldivian National Television when she was just 14 years old. She also appeared on the cover of Vogue India in 2016.
Her father, Mohamed Athif, was a doctor.
