About Rameet Kaur
Rameet Kaur (born December 22, 1993) is a Punjabi hip-hop singer from Glasgow, Scotland. She gained attention with the release of her debut single “Kuriya” in August 2014 followed by her second single “Tere Karke” in December of the same year. Kaur is also known for being a member of the bhangra dance group Punjabi No1.
Kaur’s musical journey began at a young age; she started studying music at six and performed in festivals across the United Kingdom. At eleven, she released the album Dil Milde with her brother.
In addition to her musical accomplishments, Kaur made history when she won the title of Miss India Scotland in 2012, becoming the first person ever to do so.
Her father is a songwriter and her brother is also involved in performing arts under the pseudonym Lord Munmeet.
