Raghad Hussein, born on September 2, 1968, in Iraq, is the eldest daughter of former Iraqi president Saddam Hussein and his wife Sajida Talfah. She is known for defending her father’s legacy and supporting the insurgency into Iraq, earning her the nickname “Little Saddam.”

Before gaining fame for her controversial statements and actions, Raghad was married at a young age and had five children before fleeing to Jordan during the downfall of her father’s regime.

In 2015, she made headlines by selling original jewelry pieces inspired by her late husband and father.

Raghad was married to Iraqi defector Hussein Kamel al-Majid in 1983. Her sister Rana was married to Kamel’s brother. Both men were later declared traitors by fellow clan members and killed. Raghad and Kamel had five children – three sons and two daughters.
