About Rachelle DiStasio
Rachelle DiStasio was born on November 18, 1996, in Palo Alto, California.
She is a professional ballet dancer who gained recognition as an apprentice at the American Ballet Theatre (ABT) Studio Company. Notable performances of hers include the world premiere of Rondo Capriccioso choreographed by Alexei Ratmansky and La Vie Petillante by Raymond Lukens.
In 2010, at the age of 13, she made her professional debut playing the role of Clara for Nashville Ballet’s The Nutcracker. Her first dance recital was also The Nutcracker.
DiStasio began formal ballet training at the School of Nashville Ballet at the age of eight. She was raised in Nashville, Tennessee.
