Rachel Bloom, born on April 3, 1987 in Los Angeles, California, is an American TV actress and comedian. She is most well-known for creating and starring in the hit show Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, a role which earned her a Golden Globe Award in 2016. In addition to her television work, she has released musical comedy albums such as Please Love Me and Suck it, Christmas.
Prior to her fame, Bloom obtained a degree in drama from New York University and performed at the Upright Citizens Brigade. Her career also includes appearances on popular shows like How I Met Your Mother where she played Wanda.
