Race Davies, born on August 10, 1962 in Bangladesh, is a renowned soap opera actress. She gained recognition for her role as Jackie in the beloved British soap opera EastEnders, appearing in over eighty episodes. Additionally, Davies portrayed Beverly Armitage in six episodes of Lazarus & Dingwall and held recurring roles on Hollyoaks (as Christine Carpenter), My Wonderful Life (as Lydia), and Insiders (as Emma Davies).

Prior to her rise to fame, she made her television debut in a 1988 episode of The Bill. Notably, Davies also contributed voiceover and motion capture work to the PlayStation 3 video game Heavenly Sword.

Early life found Davies residing in Moglabazar, Sylhet – then part of East Pakistan (modern-day Bangladesh) – before she later made the move to England.
