Born on September 5, 1983 in Manaus, Brazil, she gained recognition as a co-host of Miss Earth from 2006 to 2009 and also appeared as the host of the travel show “This is Life” on Studio23. Prior to her pageant success, she was crowned Rainha do Peladao in 2001. In March 2011, she married actor and model John Estrada with whom she shares a daughter named Samantha.
