About Pokwang
Pokwang, born on August 27, 1970 in Iloilo, Philippines, is a Filipina television actress and comedienne. She is known for her roles in ABS-CBN comedy series such as Aalog-Alog and Toda Max. Pokwang also hosted Wowowee and several other television variety programs.
Early in her career, she played small roles in Star Cinema films including D’ Anothers and Bcuz of U. Pokwang has been the recipient of the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation Box-Office Entertainment Award in both 2010 and 2014.
Born in Iloilo City, Philippines, she later moved to Antipolo. In 2015, Pokwang began a relationship with Lee O’Brian; they welcomed their daughter Francine in January 2018. She also has a daughter named Rie Mae from a previous relationship.
