About Pilar Castano
Pilar Castano is a Colombian journalist born on September 5, 1951 in Bogota, Colombia. She is best known for her work as a fashion journalist on the Channel 1 program Fashion, Style, and Catwalk and has also authored several fashion books including Lord Mirror and The Man in the Mirror.
Castano studied journalism at Sorbonne University in Paris before embarking on a career in broadcast radio and television. She later went on to become the director of Bogota’s Fashion Week event.
She is married to Guillermo Uribe and together they have several children.
