About Phylicia George
Phylicia George is a Canadian runner born on November 16, 1987, in Markham. She made it to the finals for the 100m hurdles at the 2011 World Championships in Korea and finished sixth place in the same competition at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Prior to her success, she came in 10th at the World Junior Championships in Beijing, China running the 100m relay.
In July 2016, George joined Canada’s Olympic team and has since garnered a significant following with over 40,000 followers on her Instagram account.
George considers Natasha Hastings to be like a sister. Unfortunately, her mother passed away from breast cancer in May of 2010.
