Phoebe Robinson is a comedian, actress, and writer born on September 28, 1984 in Bedford, Ohio. She is best known for her work on the podcasts 2 Dope Queens and Sooo Many White Guys as well as for creating and starring in the web series Woke Bae.
Prior to her success in entertainment, Robinson studied screenwriting at Pratt Institute with hopes of becoming a serious screenwriter and producer. She has also been a regular contributor to Glamour magazine and has been featured in publications such as the New York Times, Vanity Fair, and BuzzFeed.
In addition to her media work, she authored the book You Can’t Touch My Hair (and Other Things I Still Have to Explain). Phoebe grew up in Cleveland, Ohio before moving to Brooklyn at age 17.
