About Phil Chester
Phil Chester, born on September 6, 1984 in the United States, is a photographer known for his focus on wedding photography. His work has been featured in Green Wedding Shoe and he has been recognized as a Top 30 Rising Star in photography by Rangefinder.
Prior to pursuing photography, Chester joined the army straight out of high school and deployed twice. It was during his first deployment to Afghanistan that he discovered his passion for photography.
Chester’s acclaim grew when National Geographic used his photos to promote their documentary “Inside The Green Berets,” which they were shooting at his camp.
Being inspired by his parents, Chester decided to compile his photos into a book rather than keeping them solely stored on the computer.
