About Petra Martinez
Petra Martinez (born June 24, 1944) is a Spanish actress and producer known for her work in theatre, film, and television. She has appeared in notable projects such as Mientras Duermas, Herederos, and La Soledad. Since winning her first best actress award in 1998 for Allanamiento de Morada, she has continued to garner numerous accolades for her performances.
Before gaining recognition in the industry, Martinez studied at Teatro Estudio de Madrid. In 1985, she co-founded Uroc Teatro, a renowned theatre company based in Madrid which was honored with the Gold Medal of Merit in the Fine Arts in 2011.
Martinez’s personal life includes a marriage to Juan Margallo whom she met during her theater studies. They have two children together named Juan and Olga.
