Penelope Leprevost is a French equestrian specializing in show jumping, born on August 1, 1980, in Rouen, France. She gained widespread recognition after winning a gold medal in the team jumping event at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Prior to her Olympic success, Leprevost had already achieved notable accomplishments within the equestrian community. She earned silver medals at prestigious events such as the Show Jumping World Championships, European Show Jumping Championships, and Show Jumping World Cup.
Leprevost’s passion for horse riding emerged at an early age—she began riding horses at three years old and entered her first competition by age six. Furthermore, she is also known for being the owner of the horse equipment company Penelope Boutique.
