Born on June 8, 1941 in Nashville, Tennessee, Robison has made significant impact with her solo performances and received the Classical Recording Foundation Award in 2006. Prior to her fame, she pursued studies at the University of Southern California and obtained a BS from the Julliard School in 1963.
