Paula Pell (born April 15, 1963) is an American screenwriter known for her work as a sketch comedy writer on the long-running NBC late night show Saturday Night Live. Her first feature film screenplay was the 2015 comedy Sisters, and she also co-created a web series called Hudson Valley Ballers.
Pell began her writing career for Saturday Night Live in 1995 and has since made notable contributions to the industry. She provided the voice of Gadget Gal in the show The Awesomes and had a recurring role on 30 Rock as Paula Hornberger.
She graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in theater in 1986.
