About Patty Gurdy
Patty Gurdy, born on January 1, 1997 in Germany, is a folk singer known for her skills as a hurdy-gurdy musician, singer, songwriter and vlogger. She released her first EP “Shapes & Patterns” in 2018 and followed it up with the release of her first full-length album “Pest & Power” in 2019. Patty also formed a live band named Patty Gurdy’s Circle and has collaborated with the metal band Scardust.
Before gaining fame as a solo artist, she earned a bachelor’s degree in communication design and was previously a member of German bands Harpyie under the stage name Io. Not only does she showcase proficiency on instruments like the piano but she has also been involved in diverse projects such as collaborating with metal band Silverlane on their song “Fur Immer und Ewig” in 2022, arranging part of the soundtrack for the video game Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure from the Earthlock series of video games
She is known to share not only music videos but also prank videos on her YouTube channel alongside these achievements.
