Patrika Darbo, born on April 6, 1948 in Jacksonville, Florida, is an American TV actress. She is best known for her role in the internet series Acting Dead, for which she won a Primetime Emmy Award. Earlier in her career, she received a nomination for a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her work on Days of Our Lives and won a Soap Opera Digest Award.
Before pursuing acting, Darbo studied theater at Georgia Southern University and later attended the Atlanta School of Drama. In 2017, she returned to soap operas with a regular role on The Bold and the Beautiful as Shirley Spectra.
Darbo married Rolf Peter Darbo in 1973. Her parents are Patricia Davidson, who worked as a restaurant hostess, and “Chubby” Davidson, who was a nightclub manager.
