About Patricia Pillar
Patricia Pillar, born on January 11, 1964 in Brasilia, Brazil, is a Brazilian actress known for her work in television series, films, and stage productions. She gained recognition for her role in the Academy Award nominated film O Quatrilho and for portraying Ester Fonseca in the television series Patria Minha.
Pillar began her entertainment career at age 16 as a model before transitioning to acting with the theater group Asdrubal Trouxe o Trombone. Her debut film appearance was in Para Viver um Grande Amor (1983), followed by her first television role on Roque Santeiro (1985).
In addition to acting, she directed a documentary about Brazilian singer Waldick Soriano in 2005. Raised in Rio de Janeiro after being born in Brasilia, Pillar married Ciro Gomes in 1998.
