About Patrice Roberts
Patrice Roberts is a Trinidadian soca singer, born on April 11, 1985, in Toco, Trinidad and Tobago. She gained widespread attention in 2005 with her single “The Islands,” and the following year, she achieved the Carnival Road March title with her collaborative single “Band of De Year.” Prior to her music career taking off, she won the Sangre Grande Junior Calypso Monarch competition in 1995.
Roberts’ hit single “The Islands” was even featured in television commercials by the Ministry of Tourism. In addition to her successful music career, she is also known for being a loving mother to her daughter Lily and for being related to fellow soca singer Bunji Garlin as his second cousin.
