About Patience Ozokwor
Patience Ozokwor, born on March 25, 1958 in Enugu, Nigeria, is a renowned Nigerian actress known for her appearance in over two hundred films between 1995 and 2012.
Prior to her illustrious acting career, Ozokwor’s introduction to the world of performing arts began when her literature teacher cast her as Hamlet in a school production of William Shakespeare’s famous play. Her outstanding performance led to touring Hamlet to schools across Eastern Nigeria.
In addition to her achievements on-screen, Ozokwor also played a prominent role in the Nollywood film “Authority” (1999), which served as the launchpad for her successful film acting career
Ozokwor is a proud mother of three children from her marriage. Following the passing of her husband, she adopted a fourth child.
