About Parris Goebel
Parris Goebel (born October 29, 1991) is a renowned hip hop dancer and choreographer from Auckland, New Zealand. She first gained recognition as the lead choreographer for the all-female hip-hop dance crew ReQuest, leading them to two World Hip Hop Dance Championships. Goebel is also credited with creating the innovative choreography style known as Polyswagg.
Prior to her rise to fame, she joined the cast of Monsters of Hip Hop in 2008. Her talents have led her to work in various entertainment projects such as featuring as an actress and dancer in the fifth installment of the Step Up film franchise and participating on the 15th season of Dancing with the Stars. Additionally, she was honored with Street Dance New Zealand’s Choreographer of the Year and Dancer of the Year awards in 2009.
Goebel founded The Palace Dance Studio and has been recognized for her outstanding contribution to street dance culture worldwide. Born to LeeAnn and Brett Goebel, Parris comes from a Samoan descent family alongside three siblings.
