Paola Turbay, born on November 29, 1970 in Houston, Texas, is a Colombian actress and model known for her role on TNT’s series The Closer as well as appearing on HBO’s True Blood. Before her acting career took off, she represented Bogota and won the Miss Colombia beauty pageant in 1991 before studying psychology at the Universidad de los Andes. In 2010, she was cast in a recurring role as Marissa Cassaras in the series Royal Pains. Paola is married to Alejandro Estrada since 1994 and they have two children.
