Pamela Gidley, born on June 11, 1965 in Massachusetts, is an American actress and model known for her work in film and television. She gained attention for her role in the 1987 film “Cherry 2000” and as a cast member of the TV series “The Pretender” from 1997 to 2000.
Before pursuing acting, Gidley was discovered by a modeling agent while walking down the street in New York. This led her to start a career in modeling after winning the Wilhemina Modeling Agency’s “Most Beautiful Girl in the World” contest in 1985.
In addition to acting, she wrote and directed the short film “I Just Forgot,” released in 2004. Gidley was previously married to actor James Lew from 2005 to 2008.
