Oumou Sangare, born on February 25th, 1968 in Bamako, Mali, is a renowned World Music Singer. She gained widespread recognition for her 2017 song “Mogoya,” which has amassed over 4 million streams on Spotify.

Often referred to as The Songbird of Wassoulou, Sangare began her singing career at the age of five and went on to win a Grammy for Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals in 2011 for the song “Imagine.”
