About omur gedik
Omur Gedik (born December 22, 1970) is a Turkish journalist and singer known for her work at the Hurriyet newspaper. She began her career in music while still studying at Bogazici University, where she graduated with a degree in English and Philosophy in 1992. Gedik also lectured at the university for a year.
Some of her notable songs include ‘Tears Tell’, ‘Relationship Status Contradiction’ and ‘What To Tell You What’. In addition to her journalism and music pursuits, Gedik is the founder and president of HACIKO Association, an organization dedicated to animal protection.
Gedik was previously married to Soner Gedik from 1991 to 1992, with whom she shares one child named Tayga Gedik.
