About Olivera Nikolova
Olivera Nikolova (born March 11, 1936) is a Macedonian novelist, screenwriter, and children’s author known for works such as Adam’s Rib and Rositsa’s Dolls. Her 1963 work, Zoki Poki, was translated into nine languages and became a children’s classic in Macedonia. She graduated from college in Skopje, Macedonia and began her career as a writer for television and radio programs. In 1983, she received the prestigious Zmaj Award for her excellence in children’s literature.
Nikolova was born in Skopje, the capital of Macedonia.
