About Oksana Masters
Oksana Masters, born on June 19, 1989 in Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine, is a multi-sport Paralympic athlete known for her specialization in rowing and cross-country skiing. She achieved gold in the Biathlon – Women’s 6 kilometers event (sitting) during the 2022 Winter Paralympics.
Despite being born with radiation-induced birth defects as a result of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, Masters has excelled in adaptive sports. At age 13, she began participating in adaptive rowing and later competed in hand-cycling events at the 2016 Paralympic Games held in Rio.
Masters’ partner is Aaron Pike.
