About Oksana Grigorieva
Oksana Grigorieva, born on February 23, 1970 in Saransk, Russia, is a Russian pop singer, songwriter and pianist. She first gained attention in 2006 with the song ‘Un Dia Llegara,’ featured on Josh Groban’s album Awake. Grigorieva went on to release her own acclaimed albums including Beautiful Heartache in 2009.
Prior to her music career, she studied at the Royal College of Music in London and also worked as a music teacher and model. In addition to her musical talents, Grigorieva unintentionally made headlines due to her highly-publicized falling out with actor and director Mel Gibson in 2010.
She has one daughter named Lucia with Gibson from their relationship.
