About Oana Hreapca
Oana Hreapca is an IFBB Pro Bodybuilder born on July 3, 1982, in Romania. She started her athletic journey at the age of 13, initially competing in field athletics like javelin, hammer and shot put. Later on, while studying sport at university, she ventured into weightlifting.
Hreapca’s bodybuilding career took off when she clinched her first championship title at the Romanian National Champion Juniors in 2001, followed by her maiden international trophy win in 2006.
She holds a degree in sports education from Alexandru Ioan Cuza University obtained in 2004. Subsequently, she completed a master’s degree in sports management and marketing from the same university two years later. In 2010, Hreapca achieved another milestone with a second bachelor’s degree earned in kinesiotherapy.
Despite experiencing personal tragedy early on—losing both parents as an infant—Hreapca was adopted when she was three years old and has since been embraced by four sisters.
