About Nurgul Yesilcay
Nurgul Yesilcay is a Turkish movie actress born on March 26, 1976, in Afyonkarahisar, Turkey. She gained recognition for her role as Kostak Emine in Egreti Gelin, winning the Golden Boll Award in 2004. Additionally, she received the Golden Orange Award for her portrayal of Aydanur in Vicdan in 2008.
Before her screen debut with Sellale in 2001, Yesilcay honed her craft through stage performances including roles in Hamlet and A Streetcar Named Desire. Notably, she has been part of three record-breaking Turkish television dramas.
Born and raised in Afyonkarahisar, Turkey, Nurgul Yesilcay attended the State Conservatoire of Anadolu University located in Eskisehir. She was previously married to Cem Ozer from 2004 until their divorce in 2010 and they have a son together named Osman.
