About Nikki Monninger
Nikki Monninger (born July 25, 1974) is an American bass guitarist and back-up vocalist. She is best known for her role as the bassist in the band Silversun Pickups, which formed in 2000.
Prior to her fame with Silversun Pickups, she met lead guitarist Brian Aubert in 1994 on a flight from Los Angeles to London while they were both headed to Cambridge for a school exchange program.
Monninger also plays bass for Let’s Go Sailing. In addition to her music career, she is married and gave birth to twin girls in 2012.
