About Neida Sandoval
Neida Sandoval is an Emmy-award winning journalist and the first Central American news reporter to become a national presenter at Univision Network. She was born on March 20, 1961 in Comayagua, Honduras.
Prior to her career in the U.S., she hosted three national variety TV and radio shows in Honduras. Neida is also known for her work as a radio host for one of the highest-rated morning shows, Despierta America, and Telemundo’s morning show A New Day.
Notably, she narrated the 9/11 terrorist attacks minute by minute live until the first tower collapsed in 2001. Neida emigrated to the U.S. in 1987 where she began working with Telemundo Network. She is mother to twins named Ali and Abito.
